Expression Web crashing frequently

Even with all it's faults I've been an avid Microsoft Front Page user, who's recently upgraded to Expression Web (ver 1) a few months ago. I'm *constantly* crashing, I've crashed more in one day then all of my time in FP 97 -> 2000. Tempted to convert over to Dream Weaver because everything I've tried doesn't seem to resolve this constant crashing, spending a lot of time cleaning up FP HTML code, and with no patches past SP1 I don't know if it'd be worth to update to ver 2 for $99.00 to attempt to fix these errors. My crashes are various but the last one that set me off to write this post is below.

Among everything else I could find I've also tried doing the below steps several times... with crashing continuing as if nothing has been done.

Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.

Also, while EW is still shut down, and assuming your using Windows XP, go here:
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\WebsiteCache

and delete the contents of WebsiteCache
